A VOICE FOR THE VALLEY
Stephen Samela is a husband, homeowner and area educator. Appointed to the Naugatuck Board of Finance in 2019 by Mayor N. Warren “Pete” Hess, Stephen knows firsthand the financial hardships facing our community. Instead of playing politics in Hartford, he’ll get us the help we need during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
Stephen and his wife Dayna have been married more than three years and purchased their first home together in Naugatuck. They began their involvement in the local community almost immediately by getting involved in the Congregational Church of Naugatuck and volunteering at the Naugatuck Valley Soup Kitchen.
Stephen has spent his career helping children with special needs thrive in public schools. Currently employed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, he consults with school districts across the state to help kids learn based on their specific needs.
A proud pet parent to a rescue dog named Rudy, Stephen is an avid Yankees and NY Giants fan and enjoys playing in a competitive cornhole league. He, Danya and Rudy also like hiking and visiting their favorite vacation spot: Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire.
Stephen has the drive, leadership and compassion to work for you — not for himself. Vote for Stephen Samela November 3rd, and you’ll always have a voice in Hartford.
